The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center is proud to announce a new small business has opening in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Entrepreneur Jessica Bredbenner has expanded her mobile children’s clothing boutique, Tiddlywinks to a storefront in Dunmore, PA. .
When asked why she chose to start her own business, Ms. Bredbenner replied, “I have always been a creative person and have had entrepreneurship in blood since I was young. I wanted to bring something unique and special to Northeastern Pennsylvania for little girls & things that moms can’t find in a typical store.”
The SBDC assisted the business through her expansion efforts with business planning, financial projections, as well as assisted the client in planning a grand opening. The Center will continue to provide marketing & management advice.
After several months of SBDC consulting services, the grand opening and ribbon cutting was held on March 31st, 2017. Among those in attendance were State Representative Kevin Haggerty, representatives from The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce and the SBDC, as well as friends and family of Ms. Bredbenner.
