New Business Alert – DonBaldo’s by Iris – Peckville, PA

The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is proud to announce the establishment of a new business, DonBaldo’s by Iris.

Located on Main Street in Peckville, PA, DonBaldo’s by Iris offers the Lackawanna Valley a  fabulous new restaurant, with a menu where everything is made to order. DonBaldo’s also offer amazing cocktails, all with fresh fruit and herbs. The owner, Iris Pacotti-Vass, is well a well known restaurateur having grown up in her family business at Lake Winola. The new owner is proud to bring life back to the former Alora Room, which was a feature in Peckville for many years.

A grand opening/ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at DonBaldo’s on March 3rd, which featured Lackawanna County Commissioners Laureen Cummings & Jerry Notarianni, State Representative Frank Farina, and Blakely Borough officials.
